Portland Dixieland SocietyIt's nice to be back home. Funny as it seems, most of Black Swan's public appearances are out of town ("never a prophet in your own backyard" perhaps). This year we'll again open up the fiscal season for the Portland Dixieland Society, once again at the Milwaukie ELKs lodge on McGloughlin Boulevard. Bring your dancing shoes. |

Boones Ferry Concert Series at St. FrancisThe St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church in Wilsonville, Oregon sponsors a community concert series each year. Black Swan will be appearing for the first time. Other dates and performers include: Valeri Day with the Jazz Vibes on October 23, 2010; Mary Flower on January 29, 2011; and Misty River on March 12, 2011. Ticket information available online. |

Central Illinois Jazz FestivalBlack Swan is making our first trip back to Juvae, Illinois for the 36th edition of this great, annual celebration of traditional jazz. It's been a few years since we've strayed from the west coast, so we are hoping to see some old friends from further east and make lots of new ones. |
